We offer a range of community services tailored to meet the needs of residents in Bushbury, United Kingdom. This group are enjoying the festive meal that we organised for 30 of our more senior residents.
We provide community-focused initiatives that support local people and stimulate cohesion and growth within the community. This is just one of our crafting events, parents and children creating hand crafted mothers day cards.
Our actions foster innovation and provide comprehensive opportunities for service users and volunteers alike. This Christmas party, with Santa and presents, was attended by 30 children and was provided free of charge, the cost being raised by our own efforts.

About us
Bushbury Spark was born out of necessity and vision.
Three years ago, some of our committee members were already involved with arranging events for the people of the area.
In late 2023 the manager of the local resource centre, struggling with dwindling attendance and a lack of community engagement, sought the help of our dedicated committee members to breathe life back into the tired and unwelcoming space.
These individuals, passionate about their community, took on the challenge with unwavering commitment.
In their own time and at their own expense, they transformed the ground floor turning a drab magnolia space into a warm and inviting area.
Through innovative ideas, thoughtful planning, and sheer determination, footfall at the centre surged from a mere 20 visits per week to over 140. The transformation was undeniable.The centre had become a beacon of community spirit.
A different vision of the future brought tension between the management and ourselves and ultimately led to the resignations of the board members who had fostered the community bonds which had been formed.
Refusing to let their hard work go to waste, and with the support of the community, our committee, who had imagined, planned, and executed every event that revived the failing centre, decided to form Bushbury Spark.
This new initiative is dedicated to the people of Bushbury, ensuring that the momentum built will continue, putting people first, for the betterment of our area. We have a membership scheme with various benefits, and are happy to welcome all who wish to take part in our exciting journey.
